Breast Imaging

Regular mammograms are the best way to detect smaller breast cancer before they can be felt.

Screening mammograms are performed at regular intervals, every year, or every two years, to compare your images over time and see changes or areas of concern. They can help detect breast cancer before it causes symptoms and while it can be successfully treated.

Diagnostic mammograms are requested to investigate a specific concern, such as identifying the cause of symptoms or if a doctor has discovered an abnormality.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VISIT

Appointments are required for all exams except X-ray, which is offered on a walk-in basis. Requisitions are required for every appointment.
